TUNA FISH

The yellowfin tuna is a species of tuna found in pelagic waters of tropical and subtropical oceans worldwide. Yellowfin tuna are torpedo-shaped with dark metallic blue backs, yellow sides, and a silver belly. They have very long anal and dorsal fins and finlets that are bright yellow. There lifetime is up to six or seven years. They are highly migratory and are found throughout the Pacific, Atlantic and Indian Oceans.

The yellowfin tuna is a fish for speed and strength . It has a streamlined body with metallic dark blue on the back and blending into yellow or silver on the belly. The belly consist of numerous broken lines and a vivid golden stripe runs along each side of the body, from the eye to the tail. The yellowfin tuna has two dorsal fins. The second dorsal fin can be very long and is situated directly over the long anal fin. The pectoral fins are found on each side of the body, which is long.

TUNA FISH LOINS & WHOLE

Our Tuna processing is carried out according to HACCP system. We do two types of Tuna, one is the famous YELLOW FIN TUNA (Thunnus albacares) and the other BIG EYE TUNA (Thunnusobesus). Tuna fish is received as fresh whole GG to our factory and our experienced staff will check their temperature, which should be T° and 0°C to + 2°C and they also inspect the organoleptic and take samples for histamine analysis.

Cleaning process will start with brushing and washing the fish using portable chilled running water placing on stainless steel table and then we record the weight of the fish, number them and then sent to our cool rooms.
